Yesterday, Paolo Bettini showed again why he is the most decisive one-day rider in mens professional road racing. He is fun to watch. Bettini is masterful at shedding his competition and widdling the field into a small group of riders that he is able to outsprint.

The day before the race, Bettini pre-rides the course in socks, Kneekers (knee warmers) and Duragloves by DeFeet.

In the cooler temperatures leading up to the World Championship Road Race, many riders used DeFeet Duragloves and Slipstreams shoe covers.
