Lookin for the Maillot Jaune! Rust in the peleton...

Some people write about issues. Some people talk about them. Ignore them and they usually get bigger. When Shane Cooper overloads on the issues, he makes music out of them. The Triple Kranks are a reformation of an 80's band. Co-written by band members Shane Cooper, Stuart Garmon, and Jonathan Birchfield, "Lookin for the Maillot Jaune" is a song that looks at the Tour de France in a way that hasn't been put into music, before.

Coop says "Look, those guys are out there dealing with this stuff. It sucks to be them when there are racers in the group using those products. Businesses have to want un-tainted performance as much as the athletes do. Games pay a huge price when fans walk away feeling ignorant. Bicycle racing is passionate. Emotional. We feel that it wears it's feelings on it's sleeve more than any other sport. This song spilled out of this band and the Tour rode right into it."

The bottom line is, fight for the real Maillot Jaune.

I hear people say "I give up on cycling. They're all on drugs, anwyay. They'll never fix it." Is that your answer? To that, I'd say "Then go away." Stand for nothing? Then be nothing. Racing needs you to select: 'Fake Racing' or 'Real Racing'. Chose, because there is no middle ground. If you want it real, you need to demand it. Fake is easy. Just take the path of least resistance. The writing on the walls of sport is often quite clear. Fake sport rewards manipulation.

I hear people say "Bike racing is messed up. It's a joke. It's a farce." Excuse me? Bike racing is actually the most cutting edge sport that is tainted by PED's (performance enhancing drugs) in the world, right now. Awareness is finally improving. Fans are demanding reality. I don't see people showing up at other sports events, that everyone knows are tainted, dressed as syringes. Until that happens, will they change? Ignorant fans get served ignorant spectacle. Fans that demand TRUE realism and TRUE passion in their sport are the greatest fans you could ever ask for. It's no joke. This fight marks one of the greatest times ever for bike racing.

If you saw the Tour de France turn into the 'Tour de Fight For Reality In Sports', stick around. You are a true fan, and you're revered in these parts.
