DeFeet athlete Bode Miller won his third World Cup alpine ski event of the season today - the Super G event in Hinterstoder, Austria. Bode threw it down huge, again, with third place almost a full second behind. The win means that Bode has taken the lead in the World Cup standings.
Bode has furthered DeFeet's winter offerings substantially over the last three years. He prefers a very thin sock to ski in, often opting for CoolMax over wool. The Talon is a 'minimalist' ski sock, but that's what Bode likes about it. Sometimes it's not about how much you have, but how little. Getting rid of excess = high performance.
