I've just recently bought a pair of the wool Kneekers, and I'm really liking them. They're keeping me warm enough for my 45 minute commute ride at around 25-30 degrees. I do have to make sure they're pulled well up or they tend to slip down slowly. If I get them right, they're fine, even out on mountain bike trails.

Highly Recommended

These wool Kneekers are great for those rides that are cold and wet. They have kept me warm riding through sleet and wind. They were with me on the first truly cold day of winter. The definition of winter gear.

Warm no matter what

I've always thought of knee warmers as something to keep you "not cold". These knee warmers actually keep my legs warm in any condition. I just did a 60 mile ride in wet, 40-degree conditions and my legs were happy.

Great
by Christoph from Walnut Creek, CA on 2/9/2012
I wish I bought them years ago! I ride to work @ 5:30 am and it is really cold. The warmers really keep my legs warm. It makes my ride more enjoyable.
They don't have rubber grippers so if I don't pull them up my thigh enough they will slip down. Now that I know how to position them they hold their position.
I have been recommending them to every cyclist I know.

Extremely Warm
by Su from Boston, MA on 12/28/2011
When i ride in below freezing weather, these are my goto kneekers. I have both the wool and coolmax ones and they both keep me extremely warm regardless of the weather.
