Description
The DeFeet factory in Hildebran, NC burned to the ground on October 18, 2001. That’s not how we named this this sock. The Blaze™ is a jack of all trades, master of none. We have witnessed this sock enjoying widespread use at events like Cyclocross Nationals, adventure races, turkey trots and New Years Day marathons. There are athletes who do all of those events and use the same pair of Blaze to do them. The go-to athletic sock. Rebuilding from the fi re is a storied chapter in our history. The Blaze is part of that. We know what it’s like to be the underdog. For all those athletes out there who know that feeling and revel in it with us, there’s the Blaze.

Highly Recommended
by Guy Mackenzie - GAS/Intrinsik Team from Bozeman, MT on 11/15/2013
I have own a couple of pairs for the last 4 years or so, I use them all the time for cycling, and running in cold weather and they work great, very warm socks. They have also proven to be very durable.
Overall: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Blaze
by Natalie from Cleveland, OH on 3/24/2012
I've worn the same five pairs of Blazes for four or five years for daily winter commuting and cool-weather training rides. They are incredibly durable, unlike other more expensive wool sport socks (cough, Smartwool, cough). Plus they fit well, are toasty, and are just the right length for cycling.
Overall: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

best sock for cold cycling days
by MK from Indianapolis, IN on 1/30/2012
Perfect for cold days. Anything below 40, no matter what shoe covers you wear, something has to keep the toes warm in the shoe. And this sock does it. Thick enough to insulate, thin enough not to bulk up or make a shoe tight. Can add a thin liner underneath for super cold days. And the wool will keep you warm even when your feet start to sweat. Stay toasty!
Overall: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
